The thing was, at the time I got this I was enlisted, and this tattoo is what would be called an "Officers" tattoo -- it's a crest and a fouled anchor -- and it always was an incentive for me to become an officer. I went from the enlisted ranks, I got my commission in 1980 and retired as a commander.
